South Point Mascot

We too have a bit of a problem with the Mascot and Symbols used at South Point. Haven’t really wanted to rock the boat though — kids were still in school — it is tough enough to be an adolescent nowadays, don’t need parents making it more difficult.

We have often wondered why city councilmember Charlie Flowers, who describes himself as a native-american, Cherokee we believe, never has commented on this… hmm, widows and orphans, and kee-ids, but nothing on the mascot and symbols…son Chuckie played football at SP, now is Water Department head for the city.

South Point Fans Get Shot at Season Tickets

This is nice, but — with all the needs of all sports at SPHS and the prohibition of soda sales, why didn’t they sell the PSLs for $100 instead of fifty?

Looks like the Red Raider Booster Club will have to arrive early to keep “squatters” from taking over some of the seats !

Where the PSL seats are located, does that mean that the students no longer have a central place right behind the bench? This is where the Spirit Squads have camped out over the years.
